According to Mary Jo Foley, an old
timer viewer, Microsoft will launch its own Windows Phone 8 device on
October, 29. Windows Phone 8 is the next generation of the
Microsoft's flagship smartphone operating system. According to Foley
the launch event will take place in either San Francisco or Los
Angeles but as per the Microsoft representative there is no comment
on Foley report.
It is expected that Windows Phone 8.0
and 7.8 will be launched later in this year. Microsoft has set a
criteria in Windows Phone 7.8 update and it can not be upgradeable to
Windows phone 8 due to hardware restriction. There are extraordinary
features in the Windows Phone 8 with a more customizable Start
screen.
