HTC’s Titan II - The First 4G LTE Windows Phone

High Tech Computer Corporation (HTC) is a well known manufacturer of smartphones. HTC is continuously delivering Windows Mobile Operating System and Android Operating System software enabled smartphones. Cher Wang, HT Cho, and Peter Chou are the three masterminds behind HTC.
These three people founded HTC in 1997 as a notebook computer manufacturer. Slowly and steadily HTC registered itself as a company which is more interested in discovery and innovations. They have provided most of the products which are known as “First” to the world.

They have maintained their heritage of “First” with lots of products such as:

  • The first touch and wireless hand-held devices in 1998
  • The first touch screen smartphones in 2000
  • The first Microsoft-powered smartphone in 2002
  • The first Microsoft 3G phone in 2005
  • The first Android phone in 2008

Now HTC comes up with World's first LTE Windows Phone. LTE is a standard for wireless data communication and technology and is well known as 3GPP Long Term Evolution . LTE is used to multiply the speed and capacity of wireless data network. HTC Titan II is the successor of HTC Titan and running Windows Phone OS Operating system. It is quite different with HTC Titan besides the similar features and specifications. It is equipped with 16 megapixels rear camera and LTE. AT&T developer announced Titan II on 9th January 2012 and it is most likely to be available in Feb 2012 in USA.

Processor – Powered by 1.5 GHz Scorpion processor and Qualcomm S2 Snapdragon chipset.

Operating System - Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS.
Memory - 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded upto 32GB, through a microSD card.
Battery - A standard Li-lon 1730 mAh battery.
Connectivity - Lightning fast AT&T 4G LTE network and 802.11 /b/g/n, DLNA WI-Fi connection and 2.1+A2DP Bluetooth.

HTC has again revamped the world with its latest innovation. Titan II has allured people, but as per the sources, for now this phone will be available only within a few markets with limited 4G availibility. With 16 megapixel camera and it's other excellent features like LTE support, mango OS, best display etc, Titan II has proved itself as a superb product.
