Synchronization of Apple Product with MS Outlook

Microsoft has emerged as a big demand for both personal and professional use. People using Microsoft Outlook can need it any time to check mails contacts etc. And if in that case system is not available with them their work gets hindered. Synchronization of contacts between Outlook and iPhone/iPod:

After the initial set up each time you connect your Outlook iPhone or iPod touch to computer, the changes made on your computer or device are synchronized.

1. Connect your device to the computer using the cable provided along with the device. iTunes opens automatically when connected to your computer.
2. In iTunes, in the source list, under devices click the entry for your iPhone or iPod.
3. Click on the Info tab.
4. Under contacts, click on Sync contacts from, and then click on Outlook.
5. Then do one of the following:

a) To sync all contacts, click all contacts

b) Or if you want to sync some selected contacts then, click on the selected groups you want to synchronize.

6. After that click Apply

Synchronization of calendar between Outlook and iPhone/iPod:

The initial step required for the synchronization of Outlook calendar with iPhone/iPod is the requirement of Apple iTunes. After the initial setup each time you connect your device to computer. Changes made in either of device get synchronized.

1. Connect your device to the computer using the cable provided with the device, iTunes opens automatically.
2. In iTunes, in the source list, under devices click the entry, and then click on Outlook.
3. Click on Info tab
4. In Calendar section, click on Sync Calendar from, and then then click on outlook.
5. Then select on of the following:

a) To sync all calendar, click All calendar

b) Or if you want to sync some selected contacts then, click selected calendars, and then click the calendars you want to synchronize.

6. After all these steps click on Apply.

Hence by following these steps you can synchronize Outlook calendar and contacts with iPhone or iPod.
